Artist Derek Riggs had already created the infamous "Eddie" mascot that appears on the cover of the band's self-titled 1980 debut - a painting he actually did a year before Maiden even existed - so it was only natural for him to get the nod for Killers, as well. Iron Maiden play Power Trip festival in California in early October alongside fellow rock heavyweights AC/DC, Judas Priest, Guns N’ Roses, Metallica and Tool. The rapturously received and completely sold out UK & Ireland leg visited arenas in Dublin, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham and two nights at London’s The O2 in June and July. The Future Past Tour features previously unperformed songs from the band’s 2021 album ‘Senjutsu’, rarely performed material from their seminal 1986 album ‘Somewhere in Time’ – including the set debut of ‘Alexander the Great’ - and classic tracks. ![]()
